William Conroy, Acting Deputy Commissioner, has been a member of the senior management team at the Department of Health and Senior Services for over 12 years.

As Acting Deputy Commissioner, Mr. Conroy is responsible for the oversight of all Senior Services and Health Systems' Programs including PAAD and the nursing home rate setting programs within the Division of Senior Benefits and Utilization Management; the Department’s Medicaid home and community based programs and Older Americans Act contract administration within the Division Aging and Community Services and; oversight of the inspections and enforcement of regulations for nearly 2000 New Jersey providers within the Division of Health Facilities Licensing and Evaluation.

As part of his duties, Mr. Conroy represents Commissioner Mary O'Dowd as a voting member of the Health Care Facilities Financing Authority governing board.
