Grants Management and Review Program
The Grants Management and Review Program in the Office of Financial Services provides assistance to the Department’s operating Divisions in the area of third-party grants issuance.
This office is responsible for three broad functions to support an efficient, effective, and accountable grants management system. The office:
- Publishes and distributes the annual Directory of Grant Programs, which publicizes available grant funding for projects to achieve specific goals for the State of New Jersey. Posts supplemental notices for additional grant funds that become available during the fiscal year. Prospective applicants submit grant applications showing how the agency will achieve these goals
- Oversees, reviews, analyzes, monitors, and processes all grants prepared by the Department’s operating Divisions to insure compliance with applicable Federal and State laws, regulations, and mandates. This includes the cost principles applicable to grants
- Notifies agencies receiving grant funds that they are responsible for submitting to the Department an annual audit report completed by an independent certified licensed public accountant
